I am really happy with the way  this turned out. I originally was just shooting the sunset, but after seeing the conditions I elected to setup a 2nd time-lapse of the stars. The results were fantastic.

I also must thank the very honest and, clearly a guy with some humour, who on discovering the setup in the early hours of the morning out in the back country, not only left it alone, but hiked around in front of it and posed for a picture. Without his honesty the time-lapse wouldn’t exist. Thanks stranger.

Also thanks to Courtney and Lib who invited me up to this awesome spot to enjoy the sunset.

A couple of videos which covered the first round of the Australian Off Road Championships for 2012.

Located in Sea Lake, country Victoria. The track was rough and the locals were even rougher.

I shot most of this with 2 locked off Canon SLRs and and EX3. Some additional clips are also in the edits from from Clay Taylor, owner of Off Road Promotions.

Thanks to Chris Jongewaard, who was kind enough to have the Contour HD camera attached to his helmet for the entire race. This made for some great on board action as he tussled it out with Paul Van der Ploeg during the first half of the race, and then unleashed, lapping well over half the field by the finish. He even had to battle with an ambulance who was attending an injured rider from the DH practise.
