Each month the Whistler Public Library screens a foreign or art film that you will likely not be seen anywhere else.

Through their subscription to the FILM MOVEMENT SERIES (courtesy of the Friends of the Whistler Public Library) they obtain a new award-winning film each month.
Film Movement Canada screens a number of the best films, you may not usually see. Selected from the biggest film festivals in the world these screenings are a unique opportunity and shouldn’t be missed.
All films will be screened in their original language, with English subtitles.
Note: The films are unrated and are not recommended for children under the age of 18.

Thanks to Chris Jongewaard, who was kind enough to have the Contour HD camera attached to his helmet for the entire race. This made for some great on board action as he tussled it out with Paul Van der Ploeg during the first half of the race, and then unleashed, lapping well over half the field by the finish. He even had to battle with an ambulance who was attending an injured rider from the DH practise.
