I’m not sure if you guys have ever looked on the Kickstarter website but it is definitely worth checking out. This product design project, for example, called Revolve by Jeremy Canterbury from Laguna Niguel, CA is fantastic. Jeremy has created a great little portable dolly system for film makers which is affordable and weighs far less than many other bigger and bulky dolly systems.

There an amazing amount of interesting Kickstarter projects just waiting to be backed. If you find one you like and pledge money towards the project fund you’ll be rewarded with a number of options, depending on your chosen pledge amount. Some pledges include additional bonus items, limited edition products or even holidays for the maximum amount. And the best part – be the first of a limited group to obtain full use of the first batch of the product if the funding reaches it’s goal. The Revolve project above, by Jeremy has gone far beyond it’s $7500 target by 800% plus. With all the projects, this means when the due date comes round and the funding has reached its goal you are guaranteed to be rewarded. If is not reached you are not billed. Sounds pretty good to me.
